The spaces
Two hours — unhurried within them. Chef’s counter and private-room bookings run longer by arrangement. If the room’s quiet, nobody’s tapping a watch.
A card holds your booking — nothing is charged. No-shows and cancellations inside 24 hours are $50 a head (the Melbourne standard); outside 24 hours, change freely online or by phone.
Sundays carry a 10% surcharge and public holidays 15% — printed on the menu and in the booking summary, never a surprise on the bill.
The rooftop and private room carry a $2,500 minimum spend. The estimator above shows your per-head and total live — smaller nights simply top up as a bar tab.
The fire is very good to vegetarians, coeliacs and most dietaries — tell us when you book. Kids are welcome at lunch and before 7pm; the courtyard is their favourite.
